3. Vacancy Details (Indicative)

A total of 6715 vacancieshave been notified across 11 Participating Banks: Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India. Bank of Baroda leads with 1900 vacancies, followed by Canara Bank (1500) and Bank of Maharashtra (1100).

5. Mains Exam Pattern (Revised)

IBPS has increased the total number of questions in Mains from 145 to 170, with higher marks now allotted to General Awareness, English and Data Analysis sections.

6. Personality Test & Interview

Candidates shortlisted in Mains appear for a non-qualifying Personality Test, followed by a 100-mark Interview. The final merit is prepared using an 80:20 weightage between Mains marks and Interview marks respectively. Minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).

7. Application Fee

  • Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
  • Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST) for all other candidates.
  • Payable online only, from 1st July 2026 to 21st July 2026.

8. How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official IBPS website www.ibps.in and open the "CRP PO/MT" link.
  2. Click "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and fill basic details to get a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  3. Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration, and 10th standard certificate as per specifications.
  4. Fill in the complete application form and use "SAVE AND NEXT" to verify details before final submission.
  5. Pay the application fee/intimation charges online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS or UPI.
  6. Take a printout of the final submitted application and fee receipt for future reference.

Quick Note

There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains. Candidates must qualify each section as well as secure the overall cut-off to move to the next stage. Always cross-check dates and updates directly on www.ibps.in.
